I love a little bird moment and took the utmost care with materials to elevate these little beauties. The paper is handmade and features a ‘deckled edge’ showing that it was pressed to size rather than being manufactured and cut from a large batch. To accentuate that feature rather than hide it, each bird is floating on raw canvas with a gap to feature those lovely irregular edges. It is then surrounded by a double linen mat and finished with a real wood frame. The overall effect is both luxurious and simple.
